This is us. At The InnBetween we are a large group of people collectively working on our ideas, visions, and community. These drive and inspire us anew each single day. But beyond our team, we love all the many people participating, volunteering, and helping out where needed.

Petra Kai Körmendy

University Chaplain


Petra joined The InnBetween at the time that it moved from Tafelstraat to Capucijnenstraat in 2015.

In her function as university chaplant, she does counselings, weekly meditation events, kirtan, and Taizé prayer.

Szilvia Fehérvári

Office Manager


Szilvi works behind the scenes, is in contact with the board and sponsors, does administration, and coordination.

Alice Watt

Building Manager


Alice is the one that has been around Maastricht University the longest and joined The InnBetween in 2017.

Alice takes care of the building by accommodating events, taking care of room bookings, and being a first point of address for everyone. If you like to rent or book our space, please contact her via email

Rachelle van Andel

University Chaplain


Rachelle has been on board of The InnBetween since mid 2019.

She accommodates weekly events, guides the Taizé prayer and offers counseling. In Roermond, Rachelle is involved in another local student chaplaincy.

Nathalie Ummels

Coordinator Refugee Project


As RPM captain, Nathalie takes care of many team leaders of various RPM volunteering groups and unites new directions RPM is heading into.

Doing so, she is still closely involved in The InnBetween.

Johannes Berghaus

PR


Johannes was on the student board responsible for sustainability already in 2016 and joined The InnBetween again in 2019 at the time of their master’s.

After a year of working in duo, Johannes took over all tasks.

Tafelen has been our longest running program and we celebrated 40 years of existence in December 2019.

Our chefs Amberlee and Amy, together with a group of volunteers, cook fresh and delicious vegetarian dishes every week.

Growth events happen on Sundays every two weeks on a wide range of topics. With an open mind, one can truly experience growth.

On Wednesday nights the student board members run events on topics surrounding our core interests: Social Responsibility, Spirituality, Sustainability, Science, and Arts & Culture.
